Golden Tile
is a Ukrainian manufacturer of ceramic tiles and porcelain stoneware.
The Ukrainian company Golden Tile is considered one of the largest in Eastern Europe. The capacities of such a manufacturer amount to about 24 million square meters per year. The brand successfully holds leading positions in the Ukrainian market and is also considered one of the largest Ukrainian exporters.

During the production process, the Golden Tile team uses its high-quality raw materials – feldspar and kaolin or white clay. Such clay is mined from a unique deposit (near Sloviansk). It is characterized by high refractoriness, and low plasticity, and also has binding properties.

History of the Golden Tile brand
The construction of a tile production plant began in 1936 when the Ukrainian Research Institute developed a project for a future plant in Kharkiv. Construction work was almost completed before the start of the Great Patriotic War, but the plant was destroyed after the war.
Only in 1946 was it possible to rebuild the plant, which started operating on March 1st. The first products to come off the assembly lines were ceramic floor tiles, insulators, and sanitary-technical faience.
Gradually, the capacities of Golden Tile actively developed, and in 1949, ceramic tiles for the external cladding of various buildings were first put up for sale. Starting from 1951, a fundamental modernization of the entire enterprise took place, which by 1956 led to a significant increase in production volumes.
In 1994, the state enterprise became a joint-stock company – Kharkiv Tile Plant (KTP). This was an important stage for the entire enterprise, which began to grow and develop rapidly, creating high-quality products.
