History and Production Processes of Ekaterinoslav Brick Company
The first Ekaterinoslav facade brick tile was created in the mid-19th century. Production was carried out by the Ekaterinoslav Brick Factory. Despite a long hiatus after years of operation, the factory managed to resume production in 2009, offering consumers quality ceramic bricks created using the method of hand moulding.
As a result, the finished products gained the necessary strength reserves, decorative properties, and ecological safety. All this became possible due to the perfect combination of authentic production technologies with modern methods.
The Ekaterinoslav brick brand uses natural materials – sand and refractory clay. The production undergoes circular firing in ancient Hoffman ring kilns (the processing temperature varies within +1100-1200 degrees Celsius). As a result, the required degree of strength is achieved, ensuring prolonged service life and obtaining a unique texture.
